PRESIDENT:

Ms. Sharon Maziya

Biography

Sharon Maziya has over 25 years of experience leading significant, enterprise-wide change management and cultural initiatives, a C-suite Human Resources professional and the current President of the Institute of People Management Eswatini (IPM). She has a Master of Sciences Degree in Leadership and Change Management from Leeds Metropolitan University and a strong background in Corporate Communications, Learning and Development and Law. She kicked off her career as a continuity presenter at Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Services (EBIS) where she had a stint behind the mic.

Sharon’s core expertise lies in steering steady and meaningful culture change, developing and leading high-performance structures and systems, implementing new benefits programs, and being a trusted adviser and business leader on the executive team. She has successfully guided HR operations while navigating significant organizational oversight and accountability,and demonstrated the ability to drive strategic and cultural change to position the organization for long-term success.

She has also enabled learning and development strategy for competency building and its linkages to be directly linked to business, functional, and employee development needs. As the President of the Institute of People Management (IPM), she remains passionate about advancing the professional standards and practices of people management in Eswatini and beyond.

Mr. Leonard Bennett

Biography

Leonard Bennett is an accomplished Human Resources and Corporate Services executive with extensive experience across local government, financial services, hospitality, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and consulting sectors. He currently serves as Head of Corporate Services at Ezulwini Municipality and Vice President of IPM Eswatini.

He holds an MBA in Management Strategy from the University of Namibia, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management. Leonard has held senior leadership roles with organizations including Avacare Health Group, Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA, KFC Group, and United and Dups Holdings Group.

With expertise in strategy, organizational development, employee relations, governance, stakeholder engagement, and performance management, Leonard is passionate about people development, ethical leadership, and driving organizational excellence. He also serves as Chairperson of the Entity Tender Board at Ezulwini Municipality and contributes to various professional and sporting governance committees in Eswatini.

Mr. Sam Mzileni

Biography

Sam Mzileni is transformational and multi-sectoral executive with over 25 years local and SADC regional experience in the sectors of social security, railways & ports, energy consulting services, electricity industry, petroleum industry, micro-lending, and secondary & tertiary education.

His professional career responsibilities include being Corporate Services Executive with SMVAF (Human Capital, Business Intelligence, Corporate Services); Lead Consultant with MGM Capital (Consulting); Director Operations & Marketing with Eswatini Railways(Train Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Dry Port); Customer Services Manager with ESwatini Electricity; Acting General Manager Customer Services with Eswatini Electricity Company (Marketing and Regional Operations); Regional Manager Operations South with ESwatini Electricity Company (Manzini and Shiselweni regions); Marketing Manager with Eswatini Electricity Company (Call Centre and Customer services); Retail & Commercial Business Consultant with Chevron Africa Pakistan (ESwatini and Pongola regions); Commercial Business Advisor with Caltex Swaziland, Part time lecturer with University of Eswatini (Marketing Research, Advertising, and Consumer Behaviour).

He likes history and enjoys reading factual literature, watching documentaries, and travelling. He sometimes makes time for a lazy round of golf (he has won the King’s Golf Cup Tournament in 2020).

Mr. Lwazi Mdziniso

Biography

Lwazi Mdziniso is a seasoned Human Capital and Employee Relations executive with over a decade of experience in labour relations, governance, organisational culture transformation, and workforce engagement within complex unionised environments. He currently serves as Employee Relations Manager at Eswatini Bank, where he provides strategic leadership in employee engagement, labour relations, compliance, and organisational effectiveness initiatives.

An Attorney of the High Court of Eswatini, Mr Mdziniso brings a unique blend of legal and human capital expertise, with a strong passion for constructive employment relations, leadership development, and workplace culture transformation. He has led several impactful initiatives in employee consultation, leadership coaching, and organisational change management, and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Institute of People Management.

Ms. Lindiwe Ngcobo – Dlamini

Biography

Lindiwe Ngcobo – Dlamini is a Lecturer at University of Eswatini and also serves as a Secretariat at IPM Eswatini. She holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Education specializing in Organizational Management, with professional interests in leadership development, teaching and learning, and human capital development.

Her work focuses on organizational management courses, including leadership, programme management, and business communication, while supporting both working professionals and direct entry students in developing workplace competencies, leadership skills, and professional growth.

She is also actively involved in curriculum development, student research supervision, and community development initiatives that promote lifelong learning, capacity building, and transformative education.

LEGAL CHAIRPERSON:

Mr. Mandla Mamba

Biography

Mandla Mamba is an accomplished Human Resources and Legal professional with over 15 years of combined experience in human resources management, industrial relations, litigation, and organisational leadership. He has built a strong reputation for professionalism, strategic leadership, and a people-centered approach to organisational and legal excellence.

He began his career at Cargo Carries, where he held roles in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, gaining extensive experience in employee relations, labour management, workforce development, and operational HR support. He later served in Human Resources Management at SIPA, contributing to organisational growth through effective people management, stakeholder engagement, and workplace development initiatives.

Mandla further expanded his expertise into the legal field, serving as Head of Litigation at Magagula Attorneys before becoming Managing Partner at Mamba Attorneys, where he currently oversees legal operations, client relations, and strategic leadership.

He advanced his academic and professional development through studies at University of South Africa and also serves as the Legal Chairperson of Institute of People Management Eswatini, contributing to governance, compliance, and professional leadership within the HR profession.

Ms. Nomcebo Mavuso

Biography

Nomcebo Mavuso is a dynamic leadership and organisational development professional with expertise in leadership coaching, change management, industrial psychology, and public administration. She is passionate about empowering individuals and organisations through strategic leadership development, transformation initiatives, and people-centered organisational practices.

She holds a Master of Philosophy in Leadership Coaching from Stellenbosch University, a BCom Honours Degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology from UNISA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Social Work from the University of Eswatini (UNESWA). She is also a Certified Change Management Practitioner (PROSCI).

Recognized for her strong leadership capabilities and transformational mindset, Nomcebo is committed to driving organisational effectiveness, cultivating resilient workplace cultures, and supporting sustainable people development initiatives across diverse professional environments. She currently serves as the Process Design Lead at Institute of People Management Eswatini, contributing to organisational development, process improvement, and strategic transformation initiatives within the institution.

Ms. Wendy Thomo

Biography

Wendy Thomo is an accomplished Human Resources and Organizational Development professional with over 15 years of experience in strategic people management, organizational transformation, and performance improvement across the banking, manufacturing, construction, retail, and agricultural sectors. She is recognized for her ability to drive business success through effective leadership, employee engagement, and people-centered strategies.

Currently serving as the Organisational Change Manager at Swaziland Building Society, Wendy leads organizational transformation initiatives focused on workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, culture transformation, and sustainable business growth. Her expertise spans change management, talent management, succession planning, labour relations, employee wellness, and organizational effectiveness.

Wendy holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She also possesses professional certifications in Change Management, Human Resource Business Partnership, Leadership Development, and Training & Development.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Wendy currently serves as the Performance Management Chairperson at Institute of People Management Eswatini, where she advocates for accountability, continuous improvement, and high-performance workplace cultures. Her passion for people development and strategic leadership has established her as a leader within the HR profession in Eswatini.

Biography

Buhle Senzo Dlamini is a skilled Multimedia and Social Media Management professional with over 10 years of experience in the creative and corporate communications industry. Throughout his career, he has worked with various corporate companies, delivering innovative multimedia solutions, digital branding strategies, and impactful social media campaigns that enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.

With a strong background in content creation, graphic design, digital marketing, photography, videography, and social media management, Buhle has built a reputation for combining creativity with professionalism to produce high-quality visual and digital communication materials.

Currently, Buhle Senzo Dlamini is serving at the Institute of People Management Eswatini, where he contributes his expertise in multimedia production and digital communication to support organizational branding, marketing, and public engagement initiatives. Driven by passion, innovation, and excellence, Buhle continues to grow as a creative professional dedicated to transforming ideas into compelling visual experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Ms. Sethu Khumalo – Simelane

Biography

Sethu Khumalo is an emerging IT professional holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with experience in IT support, systems administration, network troubleshooting, helpdesk operations, and customer service.

With over two years of combined professional experience, she has worked across the finance, telecommunications, and professional services sectors, building strong technical and problem-solving skills. She previously served as a Graduate Trainee at FINCORP – Eswatini Development Finance Corporation and worked in customer care at Eswatini Mobile. Currently, she contributes to digital transformation initiatives at IPM Eswatini, supporting the development of the organization’s website and digital presence.

Passionate about innovation and continuous learning, Sethu is committed to delivering effective technology solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.

Mr. Sebenele Simelane

Biography

Sebenele T. Simelane is a passionate and purpose-driven HR professional from Eswatini who believes that people are the heartbeat of any thriving organization. Armed with both a Diploma and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management, he has built a solid academic foundation that is matched by real-world experience gained at Umelusi Partners, where he developed a deep understanding of workplace dynamics and people-centred practices.

He is currently interning at the Institute of People Management (IPM) in Eswatini, where he is sharpening his skills, growing his expertise, and taking meaningful steps toward a career dedicated to building workplaces where employees feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
